ㅂ · ㄷ · 르 · ㅡ · ㄹ · ㅅ: Irregular verbs

Some stems change before an ending that starts with a vowel (-아요/어요, -아서, -(으)면 …). ㅂ → 우, ㄷ → ㄹ, 르 → ㄹㄹ, ㅡ drops, ㅅ drops, and ㄹ drops before ㄴ, ㅂ, ㅅ. 르 and ㅡ change only before 아/어. Learn them as words: some look the same but are regular (입다, 받다, 씻다).
