Numbers and counters
Korean has two sets of numbers. Sino-Korean numbers (일, 이, 삼 …) are for money, dates, minutes, floors and phone numbers. Native numbers (하나, 둘, 셋 …) count things and people with a counter (개, 명, 병, 잔, 장, 살) and tell the hour (시).
How to make it
| When | Rule | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Sino-Korean: money, dates, minutes, floors |
| Two months change their sound | 6
| Native numbers with a counter
| Time: native hour, Sino-Korean minute |
